FRIDAY NIGHT
The first part of SYNERGY is a Friday night youth event which is free of charge and off-the-hook! It is a night designed for young people to be able to bring their friends - saved or completely unchurched - and feel comfortable in an atmosphere that seeks to inspire and challenge them. The programme for the evening includes various facets such as live music, video, multimedia presentations, a live speaker and much more.
SATURDAY PROGRAMME
The second element of SYNERGY is that of training and equipping which is done in a conference format on the Saturday. This year, SYNERGY is offering two streams: Youth Leadership and a Teens Stream.
In the Youth Leadership Stream, our goal is to reverse the church-based statistic which claims that more than 70% of those involved in Youth ministry have the potential to burn out within the first 2 years of ministry. We need leaders who are passionate about seeing change and who are committed to the long haul. Our prayer is that this stream will encourage and inspire youth pastors, leaders, workers and volunteers to continue pressing in for all that God has for their ministry.
The Teen Stream is aimed at young people between the ages of 13 - 18 years of age. This stream will be made up of plenary sessions as well as workshops which will endeavour to answer some of the questions that this rising generation is asking.
