VISION Ministries is an interdenominal organisation which believes that the local church is God's agent of change on the earth today. Whether a church of 50 or 50,000 - it is our belief that ALL have a significant role to play within their respective communities. As such, we are passionate about training and developing leadership that will enable the local church to take her rightful place in society.

VISION Ministries exists to serve the local church in fulfilling its mandate and to see the Kingdom of Heaven established on earth.

RYAN BEATTIE
Director

VISION Ministries is operated by the VISION Executive, comprising of one full time staff member and six volunteers, all of whom are actively involved in ministry within their respective local churches. The Executive is guided and held accountable by the VISION Board which is made up of men and women from varying church and business backgrounds.

RYAN BEATTIE:
Ryan's background is in the field of education. He was the Worship Director at Glenwood Community Church  where he was an active part of the leadership team for over 10 years. Most recently he is involved in the Worship Team at Grace Family Church. In 2000 Ryan spent a year in Sydney, Australia studying at Hillsong Leadership College. Since returning to South Africa he has been driven with a vision to see churches all over South Africa and beyond reached, influenced and equipped to be all that they can be and to make the praises of our God glorious.

KATIA BEATTIE:
Originally from Australia, Katia studied Worship & Leadership at Hillsong Leadership Collge in 1994/95 and was actively involved in the worship team at Hillsong Church until she accepted a call to full time ministry in Durban, South Africa in 2003. Since then she has been involved in co-ordinating a network for provincial Youth Ministry within KZN as well as becoming our only full time staff member coordinating VISION Ministries. Katia met Ryan when he studied in Sydney in 2000. They were married in December 2005 and their first baby Jaden was born in March 2008.

DEBBIE AUSTWICK:
Debbie is the Youth Pastor at Westville Baptist Church. She has a deep love for God as well as for young people, and especially loves seeing those two passions come together in a real way. She has a BA in Psychology and is currently working towards her Theology degree. Debbie's greatest desire in life is to be a catalyst that brings young people to a deeper understanding and more meaningful relationship with God. Debbie and her husband Barry were married in January 2007.

GREG DE BRUIN:
Greg serves as the Treasurer for VISION Ministries. He is currently in his final year of his Bcompt, having completed his articles and is currently employed as a Financial Manager. Greg is married to Kerry  and they have a 2 year old daughter, Paige.

LISA BELL:
Lisa is the Youth Director at Glenwood Community Church and is currently studying for her Bachelor of Theology. In addition to her involvement in Youth Ministry, she is also involved in the worship team overseeing the sound department. Lisa has a deep love for the Lord and is passionate about ministry. Lisa and her husband Wayne were married in May of this year.

MATTHEW LUDIK:
Matt has been intimately involved with VISION Ministries as the technical director of many events as well as in many musical roles. From 2004-2007 Matt was the full time FOH Sound Engineer for SAMA Award-wining band MIC, touring internationally at major music festivals in Australia, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Slovakia, Belgium and the UK  performing alongside bands including Delirious?, Rebecca St James, Newsboys and Day of Fire. In addition he has toured South Africa extensively running sound, lighting and video in over 100 shows. Matt has a real passion for excellence in ministry, for creative worship and professionalism that makes 'the world' sit up and pay attention.

NATASHA CLERK:
Natasha is an Executive Pastor at His Church and oversees the financial and administrational runnings of the church. She is passionate about excellence in every area of church life and believes in leadership development.
